[Notice] Sakura Internet Upgrading the version of Apache

WEB PARK service uses “SAKURA’s Rental Server”.
There was an announcement of upgrading the version of Apache which is the web server program of this server from 2.2 to 2.4.

Upgrading Apache 2.2 to 2.4

Although we will carry out verification of the operation under Apache 2.4, we would also request that you verify your own web contents as well.

The description method for .htaccess will change when Apache is updated to 2.4 from 2.2, but in most cases there will be no need to take action.
(For details, please refer to the contents in the above link.)

However, it is not known whether or not compatibility will continue to be maintained with any further upgrades from version 2.4.
Therefore, for this reason we recommend that any new .htaccess files or modifications to existing .htaccess files are written using the new format.
(The first edition of 2.2 was released in December 2005, and the first edition of 2.4 was released in February 2012.)

Please note that the support for version 2.2 is scheduled to end in December 2017.
