■What is the difference between applying directly to “Sakura Internet” and applying to the Information Technology Center?


【The main differences】

Applying via the ITC Applying directly to Sakura Internet
Fee Applying directly to Sakura Internet is cheaper when comparing the cost for the same courses. It is cheaper than WEB PARK
Payment Method The payment method is a same as the current WEB PARK. (A lump sum payment at the end of the academic year) Payment can only be made through the method specified by Sakura Internet.
Initial domain (URL) In addition to the Sakura Internet domain (webparkXXXX.sakura.ne.jp), the domain name of the University of Tokyo (http://park.itc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/組織の略称) can be used. Sakura Internet domain (◯◯◯.sakura.ne.jp) can be used.

Contact ITC help desk for details on the service contents, usage application system, usage fees and password renewal.
Contact Sakura Internet directly for technical issues. (Sakura Internet accept inquiries only by email. The member ID must be included on the email. Click here on how to contact.)。
ITC also accept technical questions, but if ITC cannot solve or investigate the problem, the issue will be passed to Sakura Internet.
