[Notice] Advanced notification on the termination of the park-SSL services

WEBPARK has been providing “park-SSL”, a service which allows users to publish web pages using SSL communication without any special settings for a fee. However, we would like to this opportunity to notify you that we will be terminating this service. Please read the following for more details.

Please note that Sakura Internet, a provider of the rental servers, offers a service which users are able to issue・introduce SSL certificate (Let’s Encrypt) from the administrator’s control panel free of charge. Please use some other form of SSL communication instead of the “park-SSL” in future.

[End of accepting a new application]
We will no longer accept new applications from February 1, 2022.
※ Current users are able to continue using the service until the service termination date even after February 1. 2022.

[Cost of Use]
The additional cost of JPY 10,000 (per academic year) per application will no longer be necessary after this academic year (AY2021).

[Service Termination Period]
Scheduled for the end of March 2027
※ We will inform the representatives ・ contact persons of your organization who have been using park SSL individually as soon as the detailed schedule has been fixed.
