Hiroto Imajo supervised by Professor Takadama has received the Young Research Award of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Japan Chapter.

Mr. Hiroto Imajo, who is a fourth-year undergraduate student of the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, The University of Tokyo and is supervised by Professor Takadama of the Interdisciplinary Information Science Research Division, the Information Technology Center, The University of Tokyo, has received the Young Research Award of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Japan Chapter at the 19th Evolutionary Computation Symposium 2025 hosted by the Evolutionary Computation Society. This award is presented to one or two presenters aged 35 or younger who presented at the Evolutionary Computation Symposium 2025 held from December 19th to 21st, 2025. It is a remarkable achievement for an undergraduate senior to receive this award.
