[Notice] Change in the PHP provision policy for Sakura Internet

Sakura Internet has announced that the PHP provision policy will be changed following consideration of the usage situation after the end of the previous minor version update.

For this reason, PHP7.2, as previously announced, will be available until November 2019, just before the security support ends.

Details of the changes are as follows:

Content of the change
The policy on the provision period for the minor version upgrade has changed.

Before the change
The previous minor version upgrade will no longer be available at the end of the fourth month after the new minor version upgrade is released.

After the change
The provision of the previous minor version upgrade ends during the two-week period before the end of official PHP security support.

※If the ending time for the provision of the minor version upgrade falls within the long holiday seasons, we may end the provision earlier.

If you are still using the previous version, it will be automatically updated to the latest version sometime between two months and two weeks before security support ends.

※This automatic update will be updated to the latest version at the time.
