■How do I use CGI?

You can operate CGI program created by users on SAKURA internet rental server.
However, ITC does not provide any form of support on this so will not respond to any inquiries such as how to create programs or on test operations (debugging).
Please refer to the various documents available on the internet, books or the SAKURA rental server manual, and try to solve any problems by yourselves.

• CGIs are to be installed in the following directory (location): /home/account name/www/
  If you are going to use CGI, please click here for the details provided on the SAKURA rental server manual.
• Please be aware that if a CGI program places to much load on the server, use of the program may be suspended or restricted, or your right to use the program revoked. Therefore, please take care when executing a program.
• If the CGI is not working properly, please check the following points.
  • The file is installed in the correct location and the file permission is set appropriately.
  • Is the path in the program set correctly?
