■Does the Information Technology Center perform data backups?

ITC does not perform any backing up of data. Furthermore, Sakura Internet does offer some backup services, such as “Writing data on the public server to multiple disks (RAID1)” or “Backup server periodically”, but these are to take backups for recovery in the event of a server failure and are not there to recover user’s data that are erased by mistake.
Therefore, we ask all users to make sure that they periodically make backups of their own personal data.
